The Lambda Eta Sigma Alumnae Chapter created the EmpowerHER and Faith Mixon Scholar of Excellence Scholarships to further Sigma Gamma Rho’s commitment to promoting greater good in education, service, and leadership development.

We are seeking exceptional candidates who are:

​

• Graduating high school seniors planning to attend college this Summer or Fall 2026

• Students currently enrolled in college

​

 

The EmpowerHer scholarship is open to graduating Alabama high school seniors planning to attend college this Summer or Fall 2026, with demonstrated community service. Two (2) $250 scholarships will be awarded for the EmpowerHER Scholarship

​

The Faith Mixon Scholar of Excellence Scholarship will award one $500 academic scholarship to a college student who displays great educational achievement, community service experience, and honors the legacy of our beloved Soror Faith Mixon, a charter member of Lambda Eta Sigma.
